The purpose of the pride flag, being a rainbow, is to show diversity. If they want to add even more colour to it, even more diversity, who are we to disapprove of them for that.
I also saw a comment on Facebook a couple of months ago when this story first started coming out which said (roughly)
"If we're adding black and brown to the flag, why not add white?"
My response? Sure.

That's why I just call it LGBTQ+ for short.

MOGII is a better acronym anyway. I would have said MOGAI, but that gives people an excuse to say "Mo' Gay" hurr hurr hurr.
