Hiya everybody!
I'm Brian and I'm a Biromantic, Asexual male.
So, what does this mean?
Well, quite simply, it means that I have no problem dating male and female genders (I'd like to take a quick moment to say that I realise of course these are not the only genders, it's just that these are just who I am romantically attracted to) although I have a slight preference towards females, but it's perfectly fine to have a preference, although that's a discussion for another board.
However, I am Asexual too, which means that I have no real desire or "want" to have sex with anyone. Now, when I tell people this, it can very quickly stir up a lot of questions, some of which can be quite offensive, so here's some Do's and Dont's:

DO:
- Respect them for it, regardless of whether you agree with it or not.
- Treat them the exact same as you would have already; with respect and compassion.
- Ask reasonable questions such as:
"So, what does that mean exactly?"
DON'T:
DON'T:
- Ask sexually or otherwise inappropriate questions. (The answer is: Yes, we still can/do, in case you, for whatever reason, really needed to know)
- React negatively and pressure them.
- Overload them with questions such as:
"How do you know if you've never tried it?"
In conclusion, just treat us the exact same as you would with anyone else. As I mentioned above, most times when I reveal my Asexuality, people always ask the most personal and quite offensive questions, so please think before asking
Thank you!
