Today I wanted to start a discussion on "Why is there so much homophobia within the gaming community?"
I understand that people can become very easily frustrated and say all sorts of things when they lose an online game, however, perhaps it's more of the fact that you are basically anonymous behind that screen and your actions have little to no consequence.
Whatever the reason, there are a variety of online games out there which are absolutely terrible for homophobia; the biggest one that I can think of from the top of my head would have to be Rocket League but I know that there are so many other amazing games with appalling communities.
What are your thoughts on Homphobia in Gaming, why do you think it happens and what game do you think is the worst for it?
