It's been a while since my previous update so I thought that I'd give everyone a little bit of a catch-up of what's been going on and some exciting news!
New Profile & Mini-Profile Fields
I've added some new custom profile fields for your Profile & Mini-Profile so that you can learn even more about your fellow community members and find common interests much more easily but don't worry, all fields are entirely optional so you only fill in what you want to share with others!
What's a "Mini-Profile"?
Your mini-Profile is, simply put, this:
It's some information about you which you have chosen to display to others, which appears under your name next to any threads and posts that you create.
How can I find my Mini-Profile Fields?
It's easy!
You just need to visit your Profile > Edit Profile > Personal and scroll down to find the fields.
Community Cards
So, as of yesterday (day before I'm writing this post) I've placed an order on some really cool-looking "business cards" so that it will make it much easier for me to promote the community in real life which could mean that we could see an increase in new members to our wonderful forum.
Curious to see what they look like? Well, they are double-sided and there's 10 similar but different designs with the back always being the exact same, and to go through all of them would take up too much time so I'll just show you the back of one for now:
Note: I changed the card to say "Referrer's Name" rather than "Referral Code" however, this was the only screenshot I took.
Also, the "Edit" watermark will not be on the actual cards, it's simply there because I was hovering over it when I took the screenshot.
And that's all I have for this update but if you turn on Email Notifications for this board, you can stay up-to-date with all new News & Announcements posts.
