Heather Brewer is an amazing author, her work on the Vladimir Todd Chronicles were amazing. A little bit about the books, Vladimir Todd is a child born from both Vampire and Human, the first of his kind, because vampires are not suppose to be able to procreate with anyone, his birth was an abnormality, no one knew what powers or what weaknesses he would have. Vlad at a young age sired his best friend Henry, it was an accident because Henry stated "Bite Me", so Vlad with his first instinct did, creating his own sire. Not too long after Henry was sired, Vlad lost his mom and dad in a house fire. He then went to live with his mom's best friend, and has considered her an aunt. She knew about his "appetite", so she would take "almost" expired blood from the hospital were she worked to feed him. Now before I go farther into spoilers, I would love to say the books are amazing and would read them again and again..I do recommend them to anyone with a thirst for Fantasy.
