Your life isn't going to be over because that one guy at school rejected you, don't go and mess your school grades up, trust me, it makes it harder for you to pick yourself back up and get back into studying when you go to college. Your grades matter a lot more than you think, put down that vodka, take your shoes off, get up to your room, you're not going to that party tonight. Oh, and don't drop rugby, you're good at it, you'll regret it when you hit 22 and when people ask if you have any hobbies and your only hobbies really are partying, hanging out with friends and going online. You'll turn boring. Now, let me give you some life lessons, younger me. Let me tell you about your love life, it's actually a hilarious disaster, but it's funny. Don't worry, you'll develop this sense of humour.
Oh and your first boyfriend will be a massive stoner and you'll question why you were ever with him, he's a great cook though, and not actually that bad of a guy, but don't feel too down when it goes tits up. It's neither of your faults, you're just both two very very different people. Your second boyfriend will end up having alcohol issues and you'll have a huge argument at work when he gets brought in via ambulance due to seizures from alcohol and when your friends are treating him, he will lay there shouting about how he hasn't got an alcohol problem. Don't be hard on yourself, it's not your fault you didn't pick up on it, you were in the honeymoon phase still, after all. It's better for you that you got out of it. Oh, you'll also meet his mum while he's having his third seizure while laying in resus, you'll get to explain to her who you are, and you'll also get to explain why he's having seizures, then end up comforting her.
Now, here's a little bit of advice on mental health:
Don't. Ignore. It. Go to your GP for goodness sakes. The sooner you do it, the better. It's the best thing you'll ever do, trust me. You'll feel so much better.
Till I remember what other stupid stuff you're doing, toodle pip
