So, as an avid fan of sleep and napping, I feel that it warrants having it's own thread.

Today I've managed to get in from work and have a four and a half hour nap, which I think is a new record for me, and I'm still tired and looking forward to going to go bed tonight.

Do we have any other fans of napping in the house?

There's another phrase we sometimes use and that is and that is '40 winks' lol

I was with my wife today in hospital and she came back from surgery and she was having half hour monitoring checks then once an hour. We we so bored that she fell a sleep in her bed and I fell a sleep in her wheelchair beside here (this was 3pm in the afternoon!) Woke up realising the nurse wanting to do more test.

We do nap during the day regularly in general.....

I can't sleep at all during the day, even if the lights are out, I just can't do it.
Besides, even if I could and it was only for a couple of hours, it'd still find a way to not make me tired at night and mess up my sleep cycle.
