Hey there, everybody.
A few thoughts have been going through my mind recently and one of them was the Pokemon Go virality which spread and spread to a massive amount countries across the world.
The reason why I wish to focus on Pokemon Go in particular however is because of the genius behind it. It wasn't just about going outside and catching creatures to show off to your friends. Instead, it was the fact that it did, indeed, get people outside and socialising with all sorts of new people. It got more people exercising, making new friends and talking to people with a smile on their face, spreading happiness and joy.
But most importantly; it showed that human contact is still there.
Before the Pokemon Go Virality happened, like now that the virality has quietened down, people weren't going out as much as they were when the game came out, they weren't meeting as many new people, etc.
That is why the game was so genius and that is what more mobile games need to focus on doing and why I love the concept behind it so much.
Of course though, there were plenty of dangers which surfaced from it such as "Stranger Danger" and not being aware of your surroundings, however, with the right supervision, just going out with some friends, it was an amazing game.
What are your thoughts on this? Did you play it much? Do you still? What gym team did you choose?
