If you are new to Proboards or found this site on something else, you probably won't know that you can "request" friendships, now it's not a traditional Friends Request like Facebook does, this style of friends acceptance is if someone follow someone else and that some else follows them back, it will mark them as friends. Now maybe you don't know how to follow someone, this is a very easy process, you go to that person profile and click "Follow", it will change to "Unfollow" that means you have successfully followed that individual, if they follow you back, it will classify you two as friends.
